PetTravelCheck exists because international pet travel information is a mess. Official government pages are dense bureaucratic PDFs. Pet shipping companies blur the line between information and sales. Forum posts from 2018 are still ranked first on Google and tell you to do things that are now wrong.

We organize the official rules — from USDA APHIS, CDC, DEFRA, DGAV, and each destination country's veterinary authority — into one consistent format. Every country page is structured the same way, so you can compare your options quickly. Every statement is sourced. Every page has a visible last verified date.

What we won't do

• Sell pet shipping services or take commissions from shippers who influence our content.
• Gate information behind signup forms or paywalls.
• Claim to be an official government resource — we're not.
• Give veterinary or legal advice. We document rules; your vet implements them.

Who runs this

PetTravelCheck is an independent project. If you spot an error, an outdated rule, or a country we should add, email us — we update within days.
